Well at least we like MY burgers. Some of the over cooked patties you get at restaurants can leave a lot to be desired.
This burger creation involved starting with a slice of onion on the griddle, then adding the burger. A take on the smashed onion burger I saw on Diner’s Drive-ins and Dives one time.
Once the onions have grilled for a minute or so on the one side, flip them over and drop on the burger patties. A little S & P and you are on your way.
Look at that caramelization on those onions. This is going to be one fantastic burger.
You always need cheese on a burger. Didn’t do bacon this time. I know, but you don’t want to overload your taste buds with one burger!
