Baked pasta

Last night was pasta night.  It was time to use up some stuff in the fridge before it goes bad.  So out came the fresh basil, cherry tomatoes, spicy italian sausage, green onions and tortellini.





Start by frying the sausage, then add the green onions and cherry tomatoes.  At the last minute you add the basil before tossing with the tortellini.




We had a jarred bottle of alfredo sauce, so that was tossed with the cheese tortellini and the sausage mixture.




Top with some mozzarella cheese, then into the oven.




Once the cheese is all melty and golden brown, it’s time to eat!
